For the entire month of October, all students have brought in non-perishable foods. The Villa Nova building collected 1420 items. The first place homeroom was Mrs. Cabral’s with 246 items. The second place homeroom was Ms. Harpin’s with 185 items. The third place homeroom was Mrs. Metivier’s with 171 items.
The Hamlet building collected 1103 items. The first place homeroom was Mrs. Dubrueil’s with 298 items. The second place homeroom was Mrs. Desante’s with 230 items. The third place homeroom was Mr. Lamoureux’s with 101 items.
All the food from both buildings will be donated to local food pantries in Woonsocket. Mr. Alan Shawn Feinstein will donate $1000 to each school for their tremendous effort.
